James Louie Hargrove age 79 of Athens, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Hargrove was born August 29, 1935 in Limestone County, AL to Hassie Hargrove and Tabitha Turner Hargrove.
Services will be Tuesday, January 20, 2015 2:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Anthony Anderson officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sardis Spring Church Cemetery.
Preceded in death by his parents; son, Jeff Hargrove; brothers, Aaron Hargrove, Howard Hargrove, Virgil Hargrove; sisters, Betty Ray and Judy Wilson.
Survived by his wife, Dollie Hargrove; three daughters, Connie Rolin and husband, Marty, Pam Witvoet and husband, Tim and Michele Walker and husband, Carson; two sons, Kenny Hargrove and wife, Patty and Mitchell Hargrove and wife, Nikki; 31 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren and I great-great- grandchild; two brothers, Robert Hargrove and John Hargrove; one sister, Vema Dison.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Hargrove, Jason Hargrove, Erick Dalton, David Jorgenson, Kenneth Hargrove and Timmy Witvoet.
