James Leroy Weeks, age 84, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Sunday, September 20, 2015 at his residence. He was a native of Dial, GA, retired from North Funeral Home, a member of the Tennessee Valley Jamboree, and New Prospect Church of Christ. Mr. Weeks served his country honorably in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Louis and Gladys Ovillee Garrett Weeks.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, September 21, 2015 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 22, 2015, with Leslie Shadrick officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN with full military honors. Family suggests memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
