James Lee Wallace, age 81, Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Friday, December 3rd, 2021. He was born on December 24th, 1939 in Wayne County, TN. He retired from Bunny Bread after 30 years of dedicated and loyal service, working as a truck driver and sales representative. During his time at Bunny Bread, He won the award for Salesman of the Year for several years in a row. In his spare time, he enjoyed working in the outdoors and working on his yard. He attended Fish Trapp Free Will Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Danville and Flossy Wallace; Father-in-law, Leroy Ray; Mother-in-law, Earlene Ray.
He is survived by his Wife of 61 years; Augusta Wallace, Son; Larry Wallace, Daughters; Nancy Fitz, and Wanda Ricketts (James), Brothers; Joel Wallace (Glenda), and Joseph Wallace (Diane), Sisters; Maggie Hagan (J.R.) and Rebecca Clark; Grandchildren; Coty Ricketts (Chazelyn), and Westley Ricketts (Candace), Great Grandchildren; Kaydence, Quest, Lynleigh, and Ledger; Several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Chapel Sunday December 5th, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 p.m.
Interment will be at Fish Trapp Cemetery.
