James “Larry” Kiser, 74, Muscle Shoals, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2024. Visitation will be Friday, August 9, from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with Ben Hayes officiating. Interment will be in Glendale Cemetery, Leighton.
A native of the Shoals area, Larry was a member of Highland Park Church of Christ. He worked as a truck driver for Linde Corp. and BOC Trucking and was a member of Pipefitters Local 760. Larry was a loving and devoted husband and father. He enjoyed gardening and riding his Harley. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, David and Mary Kiser; brother-in-law, Jimmy Morgan; and great-uncle, Harold Chambers (Barbara).
Larry is survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Marie Kiser; children, Jason Larry Kiser (Erin), Jamie Kiser Drake, and Jennifer Wanda Kiser; sisters, Martha Kiser Wilson (Tommy), Jeannie Kiser Hooper (Mike), and Paula Morgan; grandchildren, Mylie Kiser, Marlie Kiser, Millie Kiser, Kennedy Nash, Naomi Hall, Hailey Lexus Drake, Jaylin Simone Presley, and Cayden Wesley Presley; great-aunt, Sue Kiser Chaney (Doris); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
