James Ladd Tidwell age 33 of Birmingham, passed away at his residence on Friday July 21, 2017.
He was employed with Just Happy Hounds in Birmingham, a job he very much loved and enjoyed.
Funeral services will be Tuesday July 25, 2017 at 11:00 am in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in New Horizon Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Monday night 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James William Venable and Edna Mae Venable, Rebecca Naomi Tidwell and Samuel Ladd Tidwell and Roy York; and great grandmother, Pearl York.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Angelia and Phillip York of Huntsville; brother, Justin York (Katherine) of Huntsville; fiance’, Brian Skot Holcombe of Birmingham; niece, Vivienne Noelle York; grandmother, Joyce Johnston of Cordova; father, Kenneth Tidwell; several other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Magic City Acceptance Center in memory of James.
