Kenneth Vancil James Kenneth Vancil, aged 75, passed away on November 17, 2024, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, MS. Kenneth dedicated 40 years to jewelry repair at Shannon’s Jewelry in Pontotoc. He had a passion for buying, selling, and trading cars and trucks, and he cherished his family and his dog, Alley.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Kay Baldwin Vancil; his son, Scott Vancil and wife Carla of Pontotoc; his daughters, Tammy Cobb and husband Jimmy, and Tina Henderson and husband Dennis, also of Pontotoc. He leaves behind seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Irene Weeden Vancil; his brothers, Andrew (Hooter) Vancil and Jerry Vancil; and his nephew, Andy Vancil.

The funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc, officiated by Bro. Paul Sims and Bro. Bobby Cobb. Visitation will begin at 12 PM and continue until the service. Burial will follow in Baldwin Memorial Gardens. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc is handling the arrangements.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dustin Vancil, Dylan Roberts, Collin Ferguson, and Jeremy Gates, with Colton Henderson as an honorary pallbearer.
