James “Jimmy” Flack – Obituary

James “Jimmy” Flack passed away May 8, 2013, in El Paso, Texas, due to failing health. He was born March 21, 1951, in Morgan County. He was preceded in death by his parents, AD and Wynnell Flack and his younger brother, Greg Flack. He is survived in death by his wife, Nida Flack; and his three sons, Doug Flack of Cleveland, Tenn., Aaron Flack of Arlington, Va., and William Flack of Alamogordo, N.M.

Jimmy was a graduate of Cotaco High School in 1969 where he was very active in many different clubs, sports, the school newspaper and was class president.

Entering the Air Force after high school, Jimmy retired after 20 years with the rank of senior master sergeant, and eventually retiring to El Paso, Texas, in recent years.

A small memorial service will be held at Perches Funeral Home, Joe Battle location, in El Paso, Texas, on Sunday. Jimmy will have a private Honor Guard ceremony at Ft. Bliss in the coming weeks.

In lieu of flowers, in honor of his service to our country, a small donation to the USO would be appreciated by the family.”
