James “Jim” Taylor, 55 of Decherd passed from this life on Saturday, May 16, 2020. Jim was born on November 28, 1964 in Winchester to the late James William Taylor and Norma Jean Williams. He is preceded in death by his mother, Norma Williams; father, James Taylor; maternal grandparents, Richard and Mildred White Williams; paternal grandparents, Roylee and Hattie Stovall Taylor. Jim attended Franklin County High School and graduated in 1983. Jim was employed at Kasai in Manchester for 15 years as a forklift operator. Jim enjoyed riding his motorcycle, wrestling, playing video games, and break-dancing. He leaves to cherish his memories to his son, Triston Taylor of Oak Creek, Wisconsin; sister, Chantaine Gray of Cowan; brother, Stephon Taylor of Winchester; four aunts, Linda Joyce (Jimmy) Johnson of Winchester, Gail Taylor of Winchester, Coleen (Eddie) Taylor of Decherd, and Geraldine Jagoe of Evansville, Indiana; three uncles, Nathaniel (Sybil) Williams of Louisville, KY., Charles (Brenda) Taylor of Winchester, and Tony (Beatrice) Taylor of Decherd; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Visitation, Saturday, May 30, 2020 from 12:00-1:00PM at Watson-North Funeral Home. The funeral service will immediately follow at 1:00PM at Watson-North Funeral Home with Minister Shiro Burnette, eulogist.
