James “Jim Bob” Robert Baygents, 65, of Jumpertown, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Baptist Hospital. He was born November 4, 1959, to Robert and Ygondine Baygents. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. Jim Bob was a graduate of Jumpertown High School and attended Northeast Mississippi Community College. He enjoyed fishing, riding his tractor, watching football, and spending time with his dog Sassy.
A Celebration of Life will be at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at McMillan Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pisgah Community Church Cemetery.
Jim Bob is survived by his best friend, Darvis Eaton of Jumpertown.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Bill Baygents.
Pallbearers are Darvis Eaton, Barry White, Rocky Perrigo, Scott McCoy, Frankie Brassfield, and Freddy Corbin.
