Mr. , formerly of Cullman, passed away on August 13, 2015 at his residence at the age of 87. He was born in Helicon on October 29, 1927 to Lucius L. and Maggie McCoy Parris. He is preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Wilma Shedd Parris; brother, Troy Parris; sisters, Ruth Swaim, Louise Benefield, Eddie Nevins, Azalee Hood and stepson, Bobby Letson.
Funeral services will be Sunday, August 16, 2015 at 3 p.m. at Moss Funeral Home Chapel in Cullman with interment in Cullman Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. prior to the service.
Survivors are wife, Edith Letson Parris; daughter: Micki Parris; son, Jeff (Leslie) Parris; grandchild, Brianna Parris; stepdaughters, Brenda (Don) Suggs, Kay Letson; stepson, Tim W. (Jenny) Letson; five stepgrandchildren and four stepgreat- grandchildren.
