Funeral services for Mr. James “Jay” David Hooper II, age 42, will be held at 2 PM Monday, September 9, 2024, at the Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, September 8, 2024, from 5 PM until 8 PM and Monday from 12 noon until service time.
Mr. Hooper passed away in Trenton, TN on Thursday, September 5, 2024.
Mr. Hooper was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gene and Carneice Hood, Mary Sue Hooper Buchannan, and Sonny Hooper.
Mr. Hooper is survived by three daughters, Kera Hooper, Sydney Hooper, and Caegan Hooper; Parents, James David Hooper and Connie Hooper Putman (Dale); three sisters, Shana Hooper Nee, Susan Hooper (Sam), and Emily Wallsmith; five nieces; two nephews; five great nieces; and two great nephews.
