James J. Reynolds, 86, of Florence, passed away April 13, 2013, at Helen Keller Hospital. He was a factory worker for Hobart Mfg. Co., a U. S. Army Veteran of World War II and the Korean War, a lifetime member of the V.F. W. and a Protestant.

 

Survivors include:

 

Wife: Pearline Haithcoat Reynolds

 

Sons: Jackie L. Reynolds and Michael J. Reynolds

 

Step-sons: Ricky Haithcoat, Charlie Haithcoat, and James Paul Haithcoat

 

 

Step-daughter: Peggy Haithcoat

 

 

Sisters: Opal Richardson, Barbara McKenzie, Patsy Rowland, and Sara Eaves

 

(15) Grandchildren and (17) Great Grandchildren

 

Preceded in death by:

 

 

Son: Richard Reynolds

 

Parents: William R. and Virgie Lee Reynolds.

 

Sisters: Ruby Gladys Reynolds, Gegie Reynolds, Eula Ratcliff, Virginia Robinson, Laura E. Reynolds

 

Brothers: John Reynolds, Tom Reynolds, Harvey Reynolds, Robert Reynolds, and Baby Boy Reynolds.

 

 

Visitation will be Thursday, April 18, from 6:00-8:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Friday at 1:00pm at the funeral home with Gerald Montgomery officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah Cemetery.
