James Issac (Bud) Walker – Obituary

Mr. James Issac (Bud) Walker departed this life on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 82 Years, 9 Months, 23 Days. He was born January 31, 1932 in Wayne County, TN the son of the late Guy and Mattie Monroe Walker. In addition to his parents, Mr. Walker was preceded in death by wife; Freddie Mae Martin Walker; brothers, L.G. Walker and Herman Walker; sister, Margaret (Walker) Pope.

Mr. Bud was a self employed plumber and electrician . He was a member and served as a deacon at the Eastview Baptist Church, Waynesboro, Tennessee. Mr. Bud coached and umpired baseball for many years. He served in the Civil Defense also was an Auxillary Deputy.
He is survived by sons, James Paul Walker of Loretto, TN, John Owen Walker and Dwight Daniel (Danny) Walker both of Waynesboro, TN; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brother, A.C. Walker of Waynesboro, TN; sister, Mary Helen Reeves of Hohenwald, TN;

Services will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Jimmy Pearcy and Laverne Griggs officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens ,Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 25, 5:00-9:00 pm and on Wednesday, November 26, 8:00 am until service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro
