Mr. James Houston Guthrie, Sr., 63, of Woodville, died on Wednesday, December 4, 2019.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Jimmy Bohanon officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until time of service.
Mr. Guthrie is survived by his son, James Houston Guthrie, Jr. of Paint Rock, AL; step daughter, Jennifer Gossett of Las Vegas, Nevada; sisters, Sheila Salters of Woodville, AL and Diane Dolberry of Stevenson, AL; brothers, Wayne (Barbara) Guthrie of Scottsboro, AL, James William Guthrie (Diane) of Anniston, AL, Donald Ray Guthrie of Scottsboro, AL, Joey Frank Ward (Candy) of Larkinsville, AL, and Scott Guthrie of Birmingham, AL; ex-wife, Diane Boyd of Athens, AL; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Frances O’Neal; father, James Wayne Guthrie; and brother, Tommy Dale Guthrie.
