James Holt, 79 of Ardmore, Tennessee died on Tuesday, October 22, 2013, at his home.
Born Saturday, February 24, 1934 in Ardmore, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Nolan Holt and the late Annie (Lucy) Mitchell Holt. He was the founder and pastor of Grace Tabernacle and enjoyed farming, staying busy, and his ministry. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Joe Holt, and a sister, Betty Ann Holt.
Surviving are his wife, Clara Mae Cross Holt of Ardmore, TN, a daughter, Shelia (Dan) Williams of Ardmore, TN, sister, Aline (Tommy) Hargrove of Ardmore, TN, one grandchild, Olivia Williams, and nieces, Jackie Hargrove (Mike) Kelly and Tammy Hargrove (Mark) Walls.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, October 24, 2013, at New Grove Cemetery with Bro. Derrick Moose officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Thursday, October 24, 2013, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
