James Harvey Reviere, 101, of Ripley passed away Saturday, May 20, 2023 . Graveside services will be held 4 PM Wednesday in Ripley Memorial Gardens. Garner Funeral Home of Ripley has charge of the services.
Rooster, as he was lovingly called, had been in Ripley Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center since late February. He was a retired car salesman and a member of First Baptist Church in Ripley. He was also retired from the Army National Guard.
The widower of Louise Reviere, he is survived by 2 daughters Charlotte Ammons (Don) of Ripley and Sherry Watson (Mike) of Lakeland, 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
