Funeral for James Harold Terry, 77, of Courtland will be Friday, September 13, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Harmony United Methodist Church with Darrell Mosley officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Graham Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church .
Mr. Terry, who died Tuesday, September 10, 2013, at Huntsville Hospital, was born October 7, 1935, in Moulton to David Terry and Bulah Boling Terry. He was retired from Reynolds Alloys in packing and shipping. He was a member of Harmony United Methodist Church. His parents preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Christine Terry; two sons, Rodney Glen Terry of Courtland and Mark Allan Terry (Rena) of Hatton; two granddaughters, Brianna Gibson (Joseph) and Taylor Terry, both of Hatton; one great-granddaughter, Kinsley Ann Gibson of Hatton; and two sisters, Doris Soden (Bob) of Decatur and Sandra Bentley (Leon) of Cullman.
Pallbearers will be Tim Pierce, Shane Terry, Stacy Terry, Jimmy Burden, Tyler Burden and Jordan Montgomery.
Honorary pallbearers will be Greg Terry, Cody Heaps, Connor Pierce and Farrell Hutto.
