James Harold Martin, age 68, passed away Thursday March 17, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Detroit, Michigan to Harold W. Martin and Nell McGregor Martin.
Mr. Martin attended school at the University of California at Hayward with a degree in archaeology. He retired from The US Geological Society as a Cartographer after 20 years of service. He retired to Sun City West, Arizona. He was presently residing at Brookdale Cedar Springs where he had many friends in Decatur, Alabama. He was a very patriotic and caring man.
He is survived by numerous cousins and other loving relatives.
Burial will be in Grand Bay Cemetery in Grand Bay, Alabama. Pallbearers will be cousins.
Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date by Serenity Funeral Home in Theodore, Alabama.
McConnell Funeral Home assisted the family.
