James Harold Borden, age 60, of Corinth passed away on Monday, August 6, 2018. Visitation will be today, August 10, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee. Funeral will be Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Troy Helton officiating. Burial will follow in Cherokee Memorial Park.
James was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Borden; mother, Ruby Dooley; father, Junior Borden; brother, Joe Borden; and brother-in-law, Sammy Hamm.
He is survived by daughters, Samantha Tucker (B.J.), Brenda Brenot (Lee) and Erica Helton (Troy); brothers, Grady Borden (Gail) and David Borden (Sandra); sister, Nelda Wooten (Jim); brothers-in-law, Anthony Hamm (Allison), James Hamm (Kim) and Pete Hamm; grandchildren, Kirstein and Samuel Helton, and Shelby Tucker; sweetheart, Teresa Tucker; mother-in-law, Brenda Grissom; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be B.J. Tucker, Lee Brenot, Anthony Hamm, James Hamm, Dexter Johnson and Dewayne Wooten. Honorary pallbearer is Troy Helton.
