James Hardy “Scooter” Tice, age 85, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Friday, July 01, 2016 at his residence. He was a native of Rose Hill, MS, retired from U.S. Steel, and a member of Mars Hill Baptist Church. Mr. Tice served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Everett and Carrie Dewberry Tice; his first wife, Norma Jane Tice; and two brothers, Lester Tice and Charles Tice.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM Sunday, July 03, 2016 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Sunday, July 03, 2016, with Mickey Brackin officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.
