James H. Landers age 73 passed away at his residence on July 8, 2023, Hackleburg, Alabama. He was born in Franklin County on January 17, 1950. He was self-employed as a carpenter.
James is survived by daughters, Elisha Frederick, Brittney Hancock; son, James Heath Landers;
Sisters, Brenda Tollisons (Bobby), Martha Stafford; grandchildren Sydney Landers, Ashley Frederick, Eithyn Frederick, Aiddyn Stidham, Chelsey Hughes, Kayley Hancock, four great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by father, Luther E. Landers; mother, Vernell Scott; brothers; Larry Landers, Stanley Landers; grandchild, Colton Landers.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Akins Funeral Home in the chapel with funeral following at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel. Burial will be in Middle Cemetery, Hackleburg, Alabama.
