James Freddie Franks, age 85, of Jasper, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Walker Baptist Medical Center.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Midway Church of Christ Cemetery. Richard Rogers will officiate.
Mr. Franks was preceded in death by his Father-Luther “Luke” W. Franks; Mother-Ethelyn Guin Franks; Grandparents-William and Delilah Franks, Ira S. and Arilla Guin.
He is survived by his Ex-Wife-Sue Franks; Son-Fred Luther Franks (Amanda); Sister-Brenda Abner (Clarence); Grandchildren-Hannah and Emma Lou Franks; Great Grandchild-Colin Franks; Host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Clarence Abner, Michael Abner, Hoot Spain, J.D. Ferguson, Ricky Wade and Mark Goodwin.
