James Fred Putman, 77 of Russellville, AL. passed away July 15, 2012
Visitation will be Tuesday July 17, 2012 from 6-9 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel.
Funeral services to begin at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday July 18 in the chapel, with burial to follow at Colbert Memorial Gardens.
He was preceded in death by his wife, June Elizabeth Putman, parents, John D. and Cora Putman.
Brothers, Leroy, Herbert, Miles L. and Dennis Reeder Putman, sister, Mary Sue Clark.
Survivors include sons, James Glenn Putman (Debra), William Lloyd Putman ( Linda )and Donald Eugene Putman
Daughters, Deborah Kay Newell ( Eddie ), Brenda Putman Jones ( Rennie ), Rebecca Putman Bevis (James ).
Grandchildren, Curtis Putman, Kimberly Addie, Melissa Putman, Kelly Newell, Elizabeth Joyner, Stacy Putman, Holly Putman, Nathan Putman, Aaron Putman, Jessica Carlisle, Justin Jones, Christopher Jones, Jacob Phillips, Nikki Putman and nine great-grandchildren.
Brother, John C. Putman , sister, Lillian Smith and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Jacob Phillips, Curtis Putman, Justin Jones, Aaron Putman, Nathan Putman, Richard Joyner and Chris Miller.
Paw-Paw loved his family unconditionally and gave abundantly and will be greatly missed by all.
Mr. Putman was a member of Pipefitters Local # 760 and a veteran of the United States Air Force.
