James Felton Wooten

  James Felton Wooten, age 81 of Arley, passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at Walker Baptist Medical Center in Jasper, Alabama. James was born on August 21, 1943 in Jasper, Alabama to Felton and Lucille Wooten. Visitation will be on Sunday, March 30, 2025 from 12:00 NOON until 1:00 p.m. at Arley First Baptist Church where the service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Brother Roger White and Brother Ron Wooten will be officiating. The burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. James is survived by his wife, Sandra Purdy; daughter, Randy Wooten; grandchildren, Logan (Morgan) Martin, Alex Wooten, Benjaman Keeton; great grandchild, Elijah Aldridge; and sister, Ann Harbison. He was preceded in death by his parents, Felton and Lucile Wooten; brother, Don Wooten; son, Timothy Underwood; and granddaughter, Eden Wooten.
