  James Estes "Jim" LeggettA Celebration of Life service for James Estes “Jim” Leggett, 56 of Rienzi, MS, will be Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at 2:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with interment to follow at Sardis Cemetery. Elder Cecil Woodruff will officiate the service with Elder Steven Leggett delivering the eulogy. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 5, 2019 from 5:00 P M to 9:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home. Mr. Leggett passed away Friday, March 1, 2019 in Rienzi, MS. He was born October 4, 2019 in Booneville, MS to Joe Hilliard Leggett and Laura Lavern Richardson Leggett. He was of the primitive baptist faith. Jim enjoyed working, fishing and being with his family and friends. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. Jim is survived by his mother, Laura Lavern Leggett of Rienzi, MS, his brother, Steven Hilliard Leggett (Sybil) of Rienzi, MS; his sisters, Sherrye Diane Hernandez (Andy) of San Antonio, TX and Katherine Elaine Woodruff (Eric) of Corinth, MS; his nieces, Lauren Cole of Corinth, MS, Georgia Miller (Jason) of Rienzi, MS and Madison Leggett of Iuka, MS; nephews, Grant Arnold of Jackson, MS and Andrew Hernandez of San Antonio, TX; great nieces and nephews, Owen Miller, Duncan Miller, Jaxon Leggett and Laura Leggett; other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Hilliard Leggett; his brother, Ronald Wade Leggett; his nephew, Zack Arnold and family friend, Robin Turner. Pallbearers will be Eric Berryman, Clint Steward, Cleve Burcham, Eric Woodruff, Andy Hernandez, Jason Miller, Andrew Hernandex and Grant Arnold. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of James Estes “Jim” Leggett.
