James Ernest Brodie Mask, 44, died Monday, December 19, 2022. He was born November 15, 1978 in Tupelo, Mississippi to the union of Rex Mask and Amelia Pierce Mask. Upon graduating high school, Brodie continued his studies earning an associate degree from Itawamba Community College. He was of the Baptist faith, was an avid golfer and MSU fan who loved all kinds of sports.
A graveside service, at Brodie’s request, will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Pontocola Cemetery with Bro. Jason Watts officiating assisted by Dennis Heisel offering personal reflections. Holland Funeral Directors – Tupelo are entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include his mother, Amelia Mask of Guntown; daughter, Addison Mask of Pontotoc; brother, Bram Mask (Shana) of Randolph, and sister, Kim Arnold (Marc) of Guntown; niece, Jaylin Blaylock (Taylor); nephews, Hayden Copeland (Rebecca), Weston Mask (Charity), Barrett Mask (Ally), and Pierce Mask; great nephew, Rylan Blaylock; three aunts and uncle, Doris Waddle (Paul), Teresa Beeson, and Sheila Bowden. He was preceded in death by his father, Rex Mask.
