James Eric Coffman age 29 of Athens, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Coffman was born June 2, 1983 in Decatur, AL to James Edward Coffman and Rebecca Coats Coffman.
Services for Mr. Coffman are Monday, March 25, 2013 at Sweet Springs Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be Sunday, March 24, 2013 from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery with Bro. Joel Logan officiating. Limestone Chapel Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
He was a member of Sweet Springs Baptist Church. He was also an EMT and Fireman.
He is survived by his mother, Becky Coffman; sisters, Renee Gray and husband Jim, Roree Scott and husband Matt and Joy Brown; two nieces and two nephews; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father James Edward Coffman; grandparents, Ed and Joyce Coffman and John and Melba Coats.
Pallbearers are Jason Ward, Chris Carter, Bradley Carter, Kevin Bennett, Jonathan Mills, Daniel Mills, Matthew Bartlett, Nathan Bartlett and Joshua Carter.
