James Edward Kimbrough age 83 of Elkmont, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2014 at his residence. Mr. Kimbrough was born August 7, 1931 in Jackson County to Robert Lee Kimbrough and Susie E. Riggs Kimbrough.
Services for Mr. Kimbrough are Monday, December 15, 2014 at Grace Full Gospel Church at 11:00 a.m. He will lie-in-state from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at the church. Visitation will be at his residence starting at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, December 14, 2014 until Monday, December 15, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. Graveside Service will be in Moon Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. in Owens Cross Roads with Clyde Carter officiating. Limestone Chapel Funeral Home is assisting the family.
He was a member of Grace Full Gospel Church.
He is survived by his sons, Benny Kimbrough and wife Fillis, James Kimbrough, Robert Lee Kimbrough, Charles Kimbrough and wife Misty, Christopher Kimbrough, Carter Dewayne Kimbrough and wife Laura and Jeff Paul Kimbrough and wife Kristi; daughters, Linda Compton and husband Eugene, Odell Suggs and husband Buddy, Ruth Henley and husband Billy and Sueann Broadway and husband Brad; step-sons, Rickey Carney and Sammy Riggins; step-daughters, Lisa Moore and husband James, Tammy Riggins and Vickie Wallace and husband Walter; 41 Grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sister, Bessie Andrews.
Preceded in death by his sons, Tim Edward Kimbrough and Jimmy Russell Kimbrough; step-daughter, Wanda Lavern Suggs.
Pallbearers will be his sons.
