James Edward Harkins, 76, of Tuscumbia, a native of Charleston, WV., passed away Sunday, May 19, 2013. His memorial service will be Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home Chapel, Tuscumbia.
Mr. Harkins was preceded in death by his wife, Inez Evelyn Harkins; and his parents, Hazel Fore Harkins and Daniel Bert Harkins. He was retired from Billy Amos Lumber Company.
He is survived by his daughters, Angela Harkins Hill and Cathy Harkins; sons, Brett Edward Harkins and Bart Kevin Harkins; brothers, Kermit and Paul Harkins; sister, Phyllis Dent; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
