James Edward Garrison Sr., 85 of Athens, Alabama, died Monday, September 30, 2024 at Madison Hospital.
Mr. Garrison was born January 22, 1939 in Cincinnati, Ohio and he was retired from the West Clearmont County School District in Ohio.
There will be a 1pm Graveside Service Saturday at Roselawn Cemetery.
Visitation is Saturday 12noon until 12:30pm at Spry Funeral Home in Athens. Grandsons will be Pallbearers.
Survivors: Son, James Garrison Jr. of Elkmont. Daughters, Alice Koslow of Huntsville and Eugenia Sampson of Athens. Eleven Grandchildren. Ten Great Grandchildren. Several Nieces and Nephews.
Preceded in death by: Parents, Herbert & Jewell Garrison. Wife, Mattie Garrison. Son, Roger Garrison Sr. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
