James Edward Elledge, 85, of Huntsville, died at home on June 25, 2014.
He was a lifelong resident and businessman of Madison County. He is survived by his daughters, Brenda Cochrane of Concord, NH and Barbara (Jerry) Crigger of Hazel Green, sister Patricia Guthrie, grandchildren Carol Cannon (Chuck), Karen Roundy, Jeremy Crigger (Christie), Jaime Ragland (Adam), great-grandchildren Ben, Patrick, Ellis, Lilly, Caroline and Livia and several beloved nieces and nephews.
He is also survived by his long-time loving companion, Joyce Sharp and her family, Keith, Dean, Tammy, and Inez Reed. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline,(Polly), his parents, William and Clara Elledge, brother Rex Elledge and sister Shirley Allen. Visitation will be Saturday, June 28, from 1-3 at Berryhill Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow at Maple Hill Cemetary. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Family Care, 35805 Westmill Drive, Huntsville 35805. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
