James Edward Doran – Obituary

James Edward Doran, 69, of Huntsville, passed away Friday. Mr. Doran retired from Covanta Energy Corporation in Huntsville. He enlisted with the US Army and served his country. He enjoyed disc golf, fishing, bowling, and listening to gospel music.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Doran; sons, Michael Williams and Ike Williams, both of Huntsville; granddaughter, Cassadi Williams of Huntsville; father, Carl Lilburn Sears of Lewisburg, WV; brother, Denny Sears of Piqua, OH; and sisters, Fran Marshall of Tipp City, OH, Deanna Fields of Oklahoma City, OK, Diana McDonald of Foley, Janice Elleman of Visor, TX, and Cindy Shultz of Piqua, OH.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, March 21 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 22 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Stephen Hampton officiating. Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
