James Edward Beckwith, 70, died Monday, Dec. 19, 2016. Public viewing will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Thompson and Son Funeral Home, Florence. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, Florence, with burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Florence. The body will be placed in the church one hour before the service.
