James Earnest Taylor, age 86, of Brownsboro, Alabama passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022.
James is survived by his wife of 29 years, Katherine Taylor; his sons, Tony Taylor (Tracy), Troy Taylor (Jennifer), Greg Taylor (Brandy), Marino Taylor (Patty), Robert Tipton (Lisa), Jack Tipton (Angie); his daughters, Sheila McCoy (Myles), Sharon Cooper (Gordon), Cindy Vernon (Shawn), Linda Anderson (Mark), Gloria Gulley (Sam), Kathy Thornberry (Glenn); his brothers, Billy Taylor (Lois), Frankie Taylor (Debra); his sisters, Jeannette Statom (Billie), Marie Dorning (Phillip), Barbara Powers (Walton), Louise Hamaker, Juanita Spicer, Lois Trickey, and Sue Fair. 28 Grandchildren and 29 Great Grandchildren. Mr. Taylor is also survived by his loving dog, Tink Taylor.
James was preceded in death by his mother, Ollie Taylor, his father, Earnest Taylor; brothers, Jimmy Taylor, William Taylor, Buddy Taylor, Joe Taylor and Mahlon Taylor.
You may visit with the family on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 from 5:00 pm until 8:00pm in Valhalla’s Celebration Chapel. A Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 2:00pm in Valhalla’s Celebration Chapel. Interment will immediately follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens in the Garden of Valor, with Military Honors.
