Mr. James E. King, age 58, of Medon, departed this life Thursday, November 6 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
A native of South Dakota, he had worked for Morgan Lumber Company in Jackson. He was born November 20, 1955 to Ray Edward King and Regina Martin Stevenson King, both of whom preceded him in death and lived most of his life in Medon. He was a Baptist in belief and loved to watch westerns and NASCAR.
Survivors include his sister, Fredia King of Medon; a brother, Steven Ray King of Las Vegas, NV; two nieces and one nephew. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, L.J. and Thelma King. The family requests memorial donations in Mr. King’s name be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
