James E. Cotton, 76, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2024 in Ashland Alabama. He was a devoted father and grandfather and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him
Left to cherish his memory are his five children; three sons, Steven (Amanda) Cotton, Chris Cotton, and Scott (Roxiann) Ramsey; his two daughters Donna (Scott) Vaughn, and Rachel (John) Proctor. He also leaves behind his sister-in-law Linda Cotton and his children’s mother, Sammie Cotton and many beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Frank Lee Cotton Sr. and Mary Cotton; also his siblings Jr. Cotton and Ann Rizzo and his great grandson Colton Ramsey.
He was a skilled mechanic for over 55 years . He will be best remembered for his love of cars and family.
