James Donald Lockhart, 64, passed away June 1, 2015, in Jacksonville, Florida. Don was born in Birmingham, Alabama. He graduated from Coffee High School in Florence, Alabama, in 1971. He went on to earn his associates in science from Calhoun State Community College in 1979 in data processing. Don worked for Columbia Gas Transmissions in Houston, Texas, Tennessee Farmers in Columbia, Tennessee, UNUM Provident in Chattanooga, Tennessee and Allstate Insurance in Jacksonville, Florida. Don will always be remembered for being the best dad, Faw-Faw, the best girls softball coach ever and an avid Alabama Fan.
Don is survived by daughters, Karen Lolley (Zach) of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, and Leslie Lockhart of Jacksonville, Florida; spouse, Sherry Lockhart; mother, Gracie Nell (Barnes) Harper of Ringgold, Georgia; brother, Jessie Wayne Lockhart (Tita) of Goochland, Virginia; sister, Sandra Lockhart Gandy (Danny) of Ringgold, Georgia; and granddaughter, Alyssa Leigh Anne Lolley.
