James Donald Cuff, 92, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on August 3, 2023.

He was born on September 21, 1930 in Minnesota. His greatest joy was his wife who he married in Graceville, Minnesota in 1955 – and the family that they raised together. The family frequently spent time together as well as spent many family vacations together.

He attended North Dakota State University on the G.I. bill and obtained a BS degree in mechanical engineering. He was an Army veteran and paratrooper. He was wounded and awarded the Bronze Star for valor during the Korean War. He was a supervisory engineer and retired from the Army Missile Command. He was also proud of a patent that he was awarded.

After retirement, he was very active in volunteer work with CASA and TARCOG and was a long-time member of St. Mary of the Visitation Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Andrea Page.

He was survived by his loving wife, Betty, who joined him in heaven after five days; His children: Marie Clark, Pat Cuff (Julia) and Annette Monahan (Tim), as well as nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren

The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 16 at 9:30 AM, at St. Mary of the Visitation Catholic Church. A joint funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 AM at the church with Fr. Joy Nellissery officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.
