James Dennis “Butch” Daugherty – Obituary

daughtreyJames Dennis “Butch” Daugherty, 58, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Monday, May 19, 2014, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. Mr. Daugherty was the owner and operator of Daugherty Refrigeration and Daugherty Rentals. He enjoyed duck hunting and drag racing, and especially loved spending time with his new granddaughter, Elizabeth Kay. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 21, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Thursday, May 22, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Ben McAnally. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers include Barry Wren, Jody Dawson, Michael Doran, Michael Harville, Greg Coffman, Kevin Senter, Keith McNeely, and Todd Williams. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by two sons, Chris “Chunk” Daugherty and wife, Kelie, and Chad Daugherty; one granddaughter, Elizabeth Kay Daugherty; one sister, Dennie McRee and husband, Mike; and a brother-in-law, Dale Tapp, all of Iuka.
