James Dempsey Bone – Obituary

Mr. James Dempsey Bone, age 83 of Centre, passed away Sunday, March 1st at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 3 PM Tuesday, March 3rd at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donald Guttery officiating; burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 PM Tuesday.
Pallbearers include: Danny Bone, Jimmy Bone, David Bone, Derik Bone, Todd Glenn, John Hunt.
Survivors include son, Darrell (Carol) Bone of Rock Hill, SC; brothers, Bobby (Connie) Bone of Sand Rock and Orville Bone of Attalla; sisters, Ruby (Calvin) Warren of Jacksonville, Louise Bedwell of Weaver; grandchildren, Derik (Judy) Bone, Todd (Laura) Glenn; great granddaughter, Mary Inzerillo; several nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Verdie King Bone.
Mr. Bone was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late Howard and Beulah Mae Jones Bone, retired salesman for Lance Snackfood Company and was a member of Parker’s Grove Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Parker’s Grove Baptist Church.
