James Dayton Moore, age 89, of Sulligent, AL, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021 at 7:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Walker Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery near Golden, MS. Bro. Mark Dean and Bro. David Caldwell to officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 5:00pm until 7:00pm.
James was born on September 28, 1931 in Prentiss County Mississippi to the late Otto Monroe Moore and the late Maudie Ward Moore. He owned and operated Moore Logging for several years. He enjoyed working in his business.
