James Dalton Gulley, age 81, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Friday, June 07, 2024, at Southern TN Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, TN. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, and retired from Murray Ohio. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Esther Price Gulley; his parents, James Jackson and Idell Griffin Gulley; and one infant brother.
He is survived by one daughter, Tammy Stults (Ethan) of Iron City, TN; one son, Terry Gulley (LeVonne) of Lawrenceburg, TN; five grandchildren, Taylor Stults of Franklin, TN, Ashley Stults of Plano, TX, T.J. Gulley of Bowling Green, KY, Morgan Gulley Beckman (Ty) of Muscle Shoals, AL, and Jackson Gulley of Lawrenceburg, TN; one great-grandchild, Dani Mae Stults of Franklin, TN; five sisters, Gerald Legg of Rogersville, AL, Reba Williams of Lexington, AL, Jean Wray of Lexington, AL, Regina Clemons of Rogersville, AL, Donna Boston of Lexington, AL; and one brother, Alton “Buddy” Gulley of Muscle Shoals, AL.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of STRHS, especially to the ICU nurses, and Compassus Hospice.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM Monday, June 10, 2024, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 12:00 PM Monday, June 10, 2024, with Jacob Evans officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Leoma, TN.
