James Dalton Glass, 81 of Wilsonville, Alabama, died Thursday September 21, 2017 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster, Al.
Mr. Glass was born April 24, 1936 in Blount County to James Noah Glass and Ruby Inez Bramlett Glass. He was a Food Broker for Osborn Brothers until his retirement. Mr. Glass enjoyed playing his guitar, watching western movies and loved his family.
He was of the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Glenn Glass and Colleen; his brothers and sisters-in-law: Vernon Glass and Linda, Bobby Glass and Carolyn, Jimmy Glass and Patsy, Max Glass and Peggy, Willard Glass and Beki, Troy Glass and LeeAnn; his sisters and brothers-in-law: Wanda Shirah and Lex, Pat Hall and Robbie, Linda Walker, Bonnie Mead and Ricky and Barbara Brazelton and Jerry; grandchildren: Crystal Humphreys and Justin and Conner Glass; great grandchild: Cash Humphreys. He was preceded in death by his parents: James Glass and Ruby Glass.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday September 23, 2017 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Brother: Greg Stone, officiating. Burial will be in Arab Memorial Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Mark Glass, Gary Glass, Jeff Garrett, Daniel Mead, Jerry Brazelton, Scott Williams and Troy Glass.
Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Saturday September 23, 2017 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel prior to the service.
