James Connie Frost, 90, of Wolf Springs, Ala., passed away on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at his home. He was a native of Lawrence County, Ala. and retired from TVA. He was a member of Mt. Zion No. 1 Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, from 6-8 pm at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, Dec. 1,2012, at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Ferguson Cemetery. Officiating will be Brother Kenneth Bond and Jonathan Henderson.
Mr. Frost was preceded in death by his parents, Emanuel and Mattie Brackin Frost; one brother; and four sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Hazel Lucile Randolph; two sons, Kenneth Lynn Frost (Betty), David Glen Frost (Judy); four grandchildren, Kim Frost , Rachel Greene (Jason), Derek Frost (Michelle) and Whitney Hamby (Charles); three great-grandchildren; and one expected great-grandson; three stepgrandchildren; 13 stepgreat-grandchildren; three stepgreat-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Lance Randolph, Greg Harrison, Gary Parker, Dakota Crosslin, Rayburn Pace, Larry Parker, Joey Randolph and Roger Reed.
