James Clinton “Jay” Pearson, 54, died Friday, April 14, 2023 at his Verona residence after battling cancer for some time. Jay was born in Amory on August 26, 1968, the 11th of 12 children born to the late Buddy Clinton Sullivan and Nannie Lou White Sullivan. He spent most of his life as a master painter for Cook and Riley Paint Company and worked his last years at MTD. Jay was a happy, go lucky “live life large” person, always pulling jokes and pranks on family and friends. A Baptist, he had an outgoing personality, was a big talker and loved being around family and friends. He enjoyed model cars and watching Westerns on TV. Jay was a good ole soul and will be missed by all.

Visitation will be from Noon-service time on Sunday only at the funeral home. For those unable to attend, the service may be viewed at www.hollandfuneraldirectors.com/Livestreaming.
