James Clifton “JC” Brown, age 78, of Tuscumbia, died Wednesday, October 2, 2013. Visitation will be Friday, 6-8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. His funeral service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Roger and Kenneth Bond officiating. Burial will be in Poplar Creek Cemetery.
Mr. Brown lived in Tuscumbia most of his life and was a member of Little Bear Creek Baptist church. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Shirley Morgan Brown and his father, James Garfield Brown.
He is survived by his wife, Ila Ann Brown, mother, Letha Mae Brown, son, Buddy Brown, all of Tuscumbia; daughter, Sheila Brown Saint (Wendell) of Russellville; brother, Bobby Lee Brown (Maria) of Killen; sister, Nina Mae King (Dee) of Tuscumbia; grandchildren, Kim Trapp, Kevin Brown, James Brown, Dale Saint; stepchildren, Marsha Oliver, Becky Wilson, Keith Wilson (Judy) and Kenny Wilson.
His family will serve as pallbearers.
