James Clifford Allred, age 77 of Fort Payne, passed away Monday, April 25, 2022. Mr. Allred was born on February 8, 1945 to the late Bertis & Elzie Rhodes Allred in South Carolina. He attended Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.
Graveside services for Mr. Allred will be 2 p.m., Thursday, April 28, 2022 at the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 4pm until 7pm at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Alverson Allred; children, James William “Billy” Allred, Denise JoAnn “Tiki” Bowman; Toni Michelle Brewer (Larry), and Kelly Liana Wood (Kevin); sister, Elzie Lee Hodge; grandchildren, Matthew Wayne Allred, Danielle Leigh Allred, Dustin Colby Bowman, Cody Lee Allred, Thomas Blake Allred, Jacob Lawrence Wood, and Devin Lee Brewer; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Brandon Lee Ellison, daughter-in-law, Violet Allred; and son-in-law, Scotty Bowman.
