Mr. James Clark Oakes, Jr, age 54, of Lacey’s Springs Al, passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Huntsville Hospital.
Mr. Oakes was born on December 18, 1967, in Marshall County, Alabama to James Clark Oakes, Sr. and Helen Meria Hornbuckle Oakes. Mr. Oakes was a Truck Driver for Oakes Oil. He enjoyed Alabama Football, NASCAR Racing and riding around.
Mr. Oakes leaves behind his wife of 10 years, Tresia Allen Oakes; his mother Helen Spinks; sister, Anita Barr (Michael); brothers, Phillip Oakes and Chad Oakes; 4 nephew and 2 nieces.
Preceded in Death by his father James Clark Oakes, Sr.
A visitation will be held at Brindlee Mountain Memorial Chapel on Monday, January 17, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. with a Graveside Service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Hough Cemetery in Lacey’s Springs AL with Bro. Tim Patrick, Officiating.
