Mr. James ThreadgillJames Carroll Threadgill, Jim/Jimmy to his friends, died peacefully in his sleep on October 1, 2022. He was the son of the late Sally Neal Cooper Threadgill and James Elton (Czar) Threadgill. He served in the United States Army and was a former employee of Johnson Controls and Threadgill Lumber Co. He was well known in Henderson County and the state of Tennessee for his contributions to archery that he loved sharing with others. He leaves behind his wife, Marie; his two daughters, Kathy Wysiadlowski (Keith) and Barbara Britt (Gregory); four grandchildren, Gary Stanfill, Jr. (Emily), Thomas Britt (Jessica), Brandon Britt, and Jake Wysiadlowski; and two great grandchildren, Olyviah Britt and Isabella Britt.
The family has chosen cremation, and per Jim’s wishes, there will be a private burial.
If anyone wishes to make a memorial gift the family would like them to be made to the Carl Perkins Center for Child Abuse or the Lexington-Henderson County Everett Horn Library.
