James C. “Jim” Glover

James C. "Jim" Glover James C. “Jim” Glover, age 93, of Huntsville, passed away peacefully on December 8th at home with family. He was born in Taft, California.

Jim had a full life. His love of flying was evident throughout his life. He started building model planes in his youth and returned to them in retirement. In between he became a Naval Aviator who participated in WW2 and Korea. He had a career with NASA and Rockwell which helped land men on the moon. He enjoyed aircraft ownership and restoration and was a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association. He and wife Jeannine supported Huntsville Hospital as volunteers for 40+ years.

He was preceded in death by Jeannine, his wife of 63 years. He is survived by his children, Robert Glover, James Glover, Jeff Glover and Rosanne (Clark) Gwathney. Grandchildren, Robert Glover, Dany Glover, Stephanie Glover, Deianira Padgett, Coe Gwathney, Catherine Good, and Charlie Gwathney. Great grandchildren, Aedyn Gwathney, Natalee Glover and Micah Glover.
